TX3SAM Log Online

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25, november 2007
The radio championship contest CQWWDX CW, 2007 edition, is the international event of the year well-known and very expected by enthusiasts hamradio contesters.
Personally, this participation has no other meaning to put myself in a good condition and help me to prepare the next events in 2008.
TX3SAM is the special callsign given to me by ANF, which is the french frequencies national agency and with the special permission of the Maritime Telecommunications network director, I've put my radio station in these premises which is for sure a nice location and certainly the best place for radio activities.
The site elevation above sea level is:
117m.

Having freed of my daily duties, and with the help of my friend Claude FK8IF, we could finally, focus on the installation of our respective radio stations. We were still in time, because we were nearly 2 hours ahead to unplug the radio equipment in our own QRA and reinstall all that at the coast station.
02:00 UTC
My radio station was finally installed in the meeting room adjacent to the operating room, and a few minutes later the various antennas, the CUSHCRAFT vertical R7 and multiband wire T2FD were erected not without difficulty. In fact, the prevailing southeasterly winds gusting to 25/30 knots gave us some cold sweat, but everything went ok and i was QRV at 02:30 UTC.
My friend Claude/FK8IF also participate in its own way to the contest, so, we made, another multiband homemade vertical antenna, and a wire dipole 40/80m from Fritzel company, erected and ready for him.
02:47 UTC
JA6SBW became the first station working TX3SAM on 15m. The quality and strength of the signal on 21 mhz made me start with this band, not very popular in normal times, but very active during radio competition periods.

My last QSO was VR10UW after which the log was closed with 580 logged QSO's, but there is a few duplicate QSO's to remove and save the log up-to-date prior to send it to the CQWWDX CW 2007 organization.

Here are additional information
